2024/25 Season Registration Details for New Players

The league consists of 8 teams of 15 players per team for a total of 120 spots. The league consists of players ranging from 30 to 70 years of age and has many degrees of skill from very good to average. If you are a highly-competitve player. looking for a competitve hockey league, this league is not for you. If you are looking to get some exercise, make new friends and enjoy a few “pops” after the games, then this league welcomes you. Kindly review the rules and understand that this hockey league values sportsmanship and mutual respect to all above all else.

RETURNING and PRIOR YEAR players have until August 25, 2024 and August 30, 2024 respectively to secure their spot in the SCOREHL. On August 31, 2024 at 8:00am, all UNSECURED spots will be available on a first come / first serve basis. Cost for new players is $825 and a $400 (of which $100 is non-refundable) deposit is required to secure your spot in the league..  Full payments are required by September 25, 2024.

UPDATE: If you wish to be notified ahead, kindly send us an email by clicking on the link (INFO@SCOREHL.CA) in the website and I will add your name to our list of players to be contacted on August 31, 2024. I will update as to the number of spots available on August 31, 2024 on the website. So if you wish to be contacted via email, kindly send me an email if you’re interested so I can keep you up-to-date.

2024/25 Season Registration Details for Returning Players

The Cost of Play for the 2024/25 season will be $775 for RETURNING players (players that played last season). A $400 deposit (of which $100 is non-refundable) is required.

The deadline for registration for RETURNING players will be 11:59pm on August 25, 2024, in order to RESERVE your spot for the 2024/25 season.

Registration for PRIOR YEAR players (players that have played in the league but did not play last year) will open August 26, 2024 and will have until August 30, 2024 to RESERVE their spot for the 24/25 Season.

Full payment will be required by September 25, 2024. If we do not receive the FULL payment by the deadline, you will be rostered but not allowed to play until full fees are paid. Should you decide to withdraw, your deposit less the $100 non-refundable portion will be returned to you and we will replace your spot with a player on the waiting list.

Happy 1st Birthday Isabella Robinson

Happy 1st Birthday Isabella!
One year ago today, while vacationing in Switzerland, Isabella was born several weeks premature. Isabella spent her first 55 days in Nicu USZ hospital Zurich and then was transferred to Sick Kids Hospital where she was in hospital for 302 days. Being premature, Isabella has faced many obstacles. She has undergone a couple surgerys, had covid, rhinovirus a couple of times, as well as norovirus.

Injury update – Mark Olynyk of B&I Truck

On February 23, 2024 during the 10:00pm game, Mark Olynyk fell and injured himself during a play on the ice. He was helped off the ice to the players bench where he sat until the game ended, where at that point he was helped off the ice to the dressing room. After the game, Mark was experiencing pain in his lower leg and he felt that his leg was broken. The ambulance was called and Mark was transported to RVH for further evaluation. Injury update – Commish

After tearing his rotator cuff and bicep tendon, we are pleased to announce that our Commish has undergone successful surgery to repair his rotator cuff. Mark is resting at home ready to begin the long rehab process. Get well soon, do your exercises and looking forward to seeing you back on the ice soon.
